Want $300? Hang Out in a Coffin at Six Flags for 30 Hours

Claustrophobics need not apply

Would you spend the weekend in a tiny, cramped space for a chance at $300 — And a free coffin? If yes, then Six Flags America has got the challenge for you.

The Fright Fest 30-Hour Coffin Challenge gives anyone the chance to spend an entire day plus six hours inside a handcrafted casket. Three-quarters of your body will be covered with a lid.

You can sign up here.

Hold on from 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 and you get $300, four gold-level 2019 season passes and a package of prizes. Plus, if you'd like, the coffin.

In-coffin meal breaks and six-minute hourly bathroom breaks make it possible, but Six Flags isn't trying to make it easy.

Ghouls, goblins, zombies or whatever other Fright Fest creatures the park has concocted will be right there with you, rattling chains and creepily moaning (we imagine). The fine print says participants should prepare for fog, dramatic lighting, flash photos and bad weather.

It gets worse: The park also nixed a rule that allowed cell phones and chargers in the coffin. Absolutely no technology is allowed. A friend can join you during the park's opening hours, but that's only 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.

Registration ends at midnight Sunday. Only six participants will be chosen. Participants must be over 18 and in good health.

Claustrophobics need not apply.
