A woman shot and killed her husband in a dispute in their Virginia home Wednesday, according to Prince William County police.
A verbal altercation in a home in the 3300 block of Labourn Drive in Woodbridge escalated, and Rene Rachelle Drake, 60, shot her husband, 54-year-old Tyrone Timothy Drake, in the upper body, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers found the suspect near the front door of the home and took her into custody, police said.
Rene Drake is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond.
