Virginia Therapist Accused of Sexual Contact With Girl

Alleged offense occurred between 2003 and 2004 when the victim was 6

Caroline County police say a licensed therapist has been charged with sexual contact involving a juvenile patient.

Scott Gordon Henry, 67, was arrested Monday on charges of aggravated sexual battery, Sheriff Tony Lippa told The Free Lance-Star

Henry is a therapist with the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board.

Lippa says a conversation between a guardian and the girl led the guardian to contact police. The guardian indicated the alleged offense occurred between 2003 and 2004 when the victim was 6.

Henry is being held at the Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond. It wasn't immediately known whether he had a lawyer. A call to the jail wasn't immediately returned Wednesday.
