    Virginia State Police are looking for anyone who witnessed a crash in Loudoun County on Aug. 14 that seriously injured a 4-year-old girl and killed her mother.

    Virginia State Police are looking for anyone who witnessed a crash in Loudoun County last week that killed a mother and seriously injured her 4-year-old daughter. 

    The crash occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at about 7:20 a.m. in Brambleton, Virginia. 

    Police say that an 18-year-old driving a Volkswagen CC southbound on Belmont Ridge Road near Legacy Park Drive went over a curb, crossed the median and hit a Subaru head-on. 

    Ammie K. Cho, of Aldie, Virginia, was killed in the crash. She was 34. Her 4-year-old daughter, who was in a car seat, was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.

    The driver of the Volkswagen was hospitalized with serious injuries. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.

    Several witnesses have come forward already, police say, but officers are looking for more.

    Anyone who saw the crash or saw the 2012 Volkswagon CC on Belmont Ridge Road before the crash is asked to contact Virginia State Police at 703-771-2533 or questions@vsp.virginia.gov.

    Loved ones started a donation page for funeral and medical expenses. It raised more than $88,000 toward its goal of $100,000 in six days.
