An Arlington man was sentenced to 80 years in prison for raping his adult daughter, prosecutors said.
The man was sentenced Friday for the January 2012 crime. He was convicted at a jury trial.
The daughter had been estranged from her father for decades after he left their home country, but the two got back into touch when the woman moved to the U.S. with her mother, prosecutors said.
The man lured his daughter to a hotel room in Arlington, forced her to have sex and kept her from leaving the room, authorities said.
The Associated Press does not identify victims of sex crimes and is not identifying the father to protect the daughter's identity.
