A Virginia occupational therapist is being held without bond following allegations he sexually assaulted a patient.
The 21-year-old victim told police that in September 2012, she was sexually assaulted by her occupational therapist at the Dumfries Health Center at 3700 Fettler Park Drive.
Police say 44-year-old Robert MacDonnell of Purcellville, Va., sexually assaulted the victim at least one time during that period.
MacDonnell was arrested Jan. 31, and charged with object sexual penetration.
He is being held without bond.
