A Woodbridge, Va., man has been charged with aggravated sexual battery after allegedly assaulting a woman at a party Saturday night.
Prince William County police responded to a call about a sexual assault in the 14200 black of Radford Ct in Woodbridge, Va. An investigation revealed that Carlos Roberto Osorio, 22, of the 2800 block of Powell Drive in Woodbrige, sexually assaulted a 26-year-old woman in a bedroom during a party at the residence, police said.
A 33-year-old man entered the room and attempted to confront Osorio, who struck the man in the head with the flat part of a machete before fleeing the residence, police said.
Osorio was arrested later in the evening and charged with aggravated sexual battery, malicious wounding and destruction of property.
Osorio and the woman did not know each other, police said.
