Up to $50,000 Reward for Information on Post Office Robbery

Post office authorities are offering a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone with information regarding a recent robbery in Falls Church.

The robbery occurred on July 18 at about 11:15 a.m. at the Seven Corners Post Office in Seven Corners Center.

According to police, one suspect entered the post office, vaulted the retail counter and demanded money from a postal employee while the second suspect stood near an exit and displayed a handgun. The suspects fled by foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both suspects were described as between 19 and 25 years old.

The armed suspect was described as black, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall to 6 feet, 1 inch tall, with a thin build. He reportedly wore a white mask and a dark-colored shirt over a white long-sleeve shirt. He also wore blue jeans, a dark baseball cap and held a black and silver semi-automatic hand gun.

The suspect who jumped the counter stood 5 feet 7 inches tall to 5 feet 9 inches tall and was of average build. He reportedly wore a dark shirt, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap and covered his face by pulling up his shirt.

If caught and charged, the suspects could face up to ten years in prison.
