Women Accuse Md. County Exec Of Harassment

"You mean to tell me you are going to turn down all of this?"

Questions about Maryland's Anne Arundel County Executive John Leopold's alleged sexual habits have arisen for a second time this year, although this time with slightly more substance.

In February, Leopold was the subject of the biggest national sex scandal since Monica Lewinsky. Some Nordstrom's employee at the Annapolis Mall called the police after witnessing what he thought were two people doing sex things in the back of a parked car.

The police came and determined that it was Leopold's car, and Leopold was in the back seat of it -- but alone when they saw him. Leopold told the cops that he was just doin' some work! Well, okay.

But the latest "possibly true" John Leopold accusations are more serious cases. Two women, a Maryland state employee and a county employee, have come forward to complain that Leopold harassed them.

The state employee, Marvenise Harris, said she encountered Leopold on April 30 in a cafeteria checkout line. She said he started complimenting her looks and asking for her personal phone number, which she declined to give.

Then, as Harris writes in her official complaint letter, Leopold did the grossest thing a human has ever done: "When Mr. Leopold said, 'You mean to tell me you are going to turn down all of this,' he took his hand and [waved] it from his shoulders to his private area." Oof! And there's at least one witness backing this account, according to Harris.

The ex-county employee, Karla Hammer -- Leopold's former spokesperson -- claims that last year Leopold "became 'obsessed with her hair" and one day "grabbed her arms and yelled at her, telling her to face him and to get her hair out of her face."

If these two accusations are true, then the Annapolis Mall parking lot thing would be proven completely untrue, because John Leopold clearly does not have the level of game required to get a naked lady in the backseat of his car.
