Two people were shot in Silver Spring, Maryland, Thursday night, Shomari Stone reports.
The victims got into an argument with a man they know about 9:30 p.m. in the 900 block of University Boulevard East.
The gunman shot one man in the stomach and grazed the other man's arm.
Police spotted a man matching the description of the shooter get into a car and pursued him, but he got on Interstate 95 and escaped.
Police continue searching for the gunman.
The man shot in the stomach was taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown. The other victim was treated at the scene.
