Two fires broke out in Montgomery County Sunday night.
The first happened at a house on Hickory Avenue in Takoma park. Firefighters took about 25 minutes to contain the flames. No one was hurt.
The second happened at a home on Mustang Hill Lane in North Potomac. Fire and smoke billowed from the attic when firefighters arrived. Crews quickly knocked out the fire. No one was hurt in that incident, either.
Investigators on Monday are trying to figure out the cause of the two blazes.
