D.C. police say one man was shot and two others were injured in separate shootings in Southeast Monday.
The first was reported around 2 p.m. in the 3400 block of 13th Place SE. Police found 22-year-old Kevin Owens suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. Owens was hospitalized and later pronounced dead.
A second shooting was reported around 7:30 p.m. in the 300 block of 37th Street SE. Two men were found with gunshot wounds, and were conscious and breathing when police arrived. Both are expected to be OK.
No suspect or motive information has been released in either incident.
