Police said a driver fled after hitting two people early Friday.
The accident happened before 7 a.m. on 6200 Oxon Hill Road.
The victims have only been identified as an adult male and an adult female.
Prince George's County police said two pedestrians encountered the victims shortly after the accident. Both were transported for their injuries.
The woman's condition was listed as critical, the man was listed as serious.
There are no crosswalks at the site of the accident. Police think the vehicle involved may have been a gray compact car.
