Two people have been charged in a superseding indictment with conspiracy to commit sex trafficking in a plot that involved threatening people with guns to force them into prostitution.
Thirty-one-year-old Jean Claude Roy and 19-year-old Brittney Creason of Decatur, Ill. were named in the indictment, which was returned July 24. Creason was arrested Monday in Las Vegas; Roy, who was named in the initial indictment, remains detained.
According to the indictment, Roy forced a person to engage in commercial sex acts, took the victim across state lines to engage in prostitution and brandished a gun to facilitate the sex trafficking.
Roy and Creason are also alleged to have conspired to force three individuals to engage in commercial sex acts.
