Two Charged in Bloody Death of Herndon Woman

Body found in car in November

FAIRFAX, Va. -- Two men have been arrested and charged with murder in the 2008 killing of a Herndon woman, according to Fairfax County police.

In November, police found the body of 22-year-old Erika Yancey in her car. She died of stab wounds to her upper body, authorities said.

On Monday, police arrested 27-year-old Michael Thomas, of Bladensburg, Md., and charged him with murder in the case.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested 28-year-old Marcus Williams in Sterling Heights, Mich. He also has been charged with murder in the Yancey case.
