As some of you may already know, Michael & Son's beloved friend Amanda Mahmood tragically passed away at the end of 2012. She was born with Down syndrome and suffered from pulmonary hypertension. Because of her illness, Amanda was living with what doctor’s said would be the last years of her life. Amanda’s mother resigned from her long time position with the Government of Maryland in order to spend more time with her. Unfortunately, this left the family in a great deal of debt and unable to afford essential home repairs.
