GERMANTOWN, Md. -- The southbound lanes of Interstate 270 were closed for a brief time Monday afternoon while authorities cleared a crash scene.
The driver of a tractor-trailer was hurt after his vehicle flipped over at about 2 p.m. near Route 121 in Montgomery County.
The first responders found the driver trapped in his cab. He was freed and flown to an area hospital. His condition is unknown.
