Trooper Remembered After Fatal Crash

Scholarship fund created for his children

Family and friends said goodbye today to Trooper First Class Shaft Hunter, 39, who was killed in a crash on Interstate 95.

They gathered at New Antioch Baptist Church in Randallstown, Md.

Police believe Hunter was chasing a speeding motorcycle when his cruiser hit a tractor-trailer Saturday.

He was buried at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.

A scholarship fund has been created in the trooper's memory to benefit his six children.
