A tractor trailer fire caused some delays for commuters in College Park Friday morning.
Maryland State Police say the tractor trailer was driving near exit 25 on the Inner Loop of the Beltway when it collided with another vehicle traveling along the roadway. The semi then crashed into a disabled car on the side of the road and caught fire. The fire fully engulfed the tractor trailer, leaving only its frame behind.
Authorities say no one was inside the disabled car.
A portion of exit 25 remains closed as crews clear the scene and investigate the crash. A right lane on the Inner Loop has reopened.
There's no word on the condition of the tractor trailer driver.
