Total of Eight People Arrested in Abduction, Death of Teen in Woodbridge, Va.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of high school senior Kenny Joseph Diaz, who was killed after he and some friends reportedly confronted another group of people over the armed robbery of one friend.

Diaz, 18, was found bleeding in a Woodbridge park on Saturday afternoon. Authorities say he was forced into a car following the altercation, was stabbed and left behind by his attackers.

The latest suspects arrested in the case are Ariel Juanita Adams, 19, of Woodbridge, and Gibreal Jama Guled, 32, of no fixed address.

They were arrested Tuesday and charged with abduction, Prince William County Police announced Wednesday.

Their arrests bring the total to eight in the stabbing death of Diaz, a senior at Woodbridge High School who played on the varsity football team.

The arrests of the first six suspects -- four women and two men -- were announced Tuesday.

Diaz was found suffering from an stab wound to the abdomen around 3:15 p.m. Saturday near a footpath at the Marumsco Acre Lake Neighborhood Park in Woodbridge. A passerby called 911, but Diaz died at a local hospital.

Detectives that a friend of Diaz's was the victim in an unreported armed robbery nine days before the stabbing, and that  Diaz was part of a group that confronted Diandra Janae Samuels, 19, and several others at Samuels' home Saturday afternoon.

During the confrontation between two groups of people, one of Samuels' friends -- 26-year-old Dominic Glenn Smith of Woodbridge -- allegedly pistol-whipped one of Diaz's friends.

Another of Diaz's friends took Smith's gun, and the crowd dispersed, but Diaz couldn't get away, police said. Samuels assaulted him and, with the help of friends, forced him into a car and drove him to the park, where she stabbed him, police said.

Everyone involved knew each other through drug dealings, police said.

Samuels is charged with murder, aggravated malicious wounding, abduction, armed robbery and the use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Smith was charged with abduction and possession of a firearm.

Four others -- all of Woodbridge -- were charged with abduction: Deneen Antoinette Williams, 29; Renee Claytor Caples, 22; Teena Marie Gerbozy, 24; and Gregory Allan Bonds, 22.

Williams' husband, Miguel Ortiz, told News4's Pat Collins that his wife is innocent and was only arrested because she knows Samuels.

The suspects are being held without bond. A court date was set for Dec. 2.

A funeral mass for Diaz, who played for Woodbridge High's varsity football team, is scheduled for Friday afternoon at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Woodbridge.
