Toddler Triplets Injured in Fire Improving

2-year-olds rescued from Bethesda house fire

BETHESDA, Md. -- Two-year-old triplets rescued from a house fire last week are getting better, according to officials at D.C.’s Children’s National Medical Center.

Aiden Petrucelli's condition has been upgraded from serious to fair condition. His brothers, Bricen and Coleson, have improved from critical to serious condition.

The toddlers were rescued from a blaze at their home Dec. 3 and suffered smoke inhalation.

The fire was sparked by faulty electrical components in a backyard hot tub, fire investigators said.

The Petrucelli Relief Fund has been established to help the family.
