Three Hurt as House Party Gets Out of Control

Montgomery County police said a house party promoted on a social platform got out of control early Saturday morning, resulting in three people being injured from knife wounds.

Officials said a party was held on Alloway Court in Potomac, Md., and the invitations went out via Instagram, a social media platform for images and photos. Apparently, the number of people who arrived got out of control and police said the host told everyone to leave.

A short time later, police were called to the scene because of a disturbance and found people congregating outside the house, but no one injured.

Police received a call from a local hospital that two men showed up; one, a 20-year-old, suffering from a stab wound and the other, a 18-year-old, with injuries to his face and body.

A short time later, another hospital contacted police after a 15-year old boy came into the ER suffering from a stab would. Investigators determined all three victims were at the party.

There have been no arrests so far, and police said most of the people attending the party were in their late teens and early 20s.
