Three Firefighters Injured in Waldorf House Fire

Three firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a blaze at a home in Waldorf, Maryland.

Fire crews were called to the home in the 10400 block of Billingsley Road after people driving by the home saw it fully engulfed in flames just before 2:30 a.m. Monday.

It took 53 firefighters to extinguish the fire. The unoccupied home was significantly damaged.

Two of the injured firefighters were transported to an area hospital for treatment; a third was treated at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
