Thieves Target Fire House in SE

A handful of teenagers are accused of breaking into a fire station in Southeast Washington.

According to the Washington Examiner,  thieves ransacked the fire station along Atlantic Street on Tuesday while crews were fighting the flames along Savannah Street.

The burglars trashed the watch desk, then stole items including a uniform, a camera, a wallet and a firefighter's BMW.

The teens, ages 14 to 18, reportedly took the car for a joy ride then ditched it.

So far, there have been no arrests.
