Five suspects in a heavy-duty pickup rammed into the machine at the Vienna station and dislodged it about 1:30 a.m. Monday, Metro Transit Police said.

Police are searching for the people they say stole an ATM from a Metro station and then packed it into the bed of a stolen pickup truck.

Five suspects in a heavy-duty pickup rammed into the machine at the Vienna station and dislodged it about 1:30 a.m. Monday, a Metro spokesman said. The thieves then lifted the machine onto the truck bed and drove off.

Police described the suspects' vehicle as a stolen white Ford F-250 with the Virginia license plate UA13-483 and a "Don't Tread On Me" sticker on the rear window. The truck also has damage to the rear bumper and passenger side wheel trim.

Authorities released images of the suspects' vehicle late Monday morning.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Transit Police detectives at 301-955-5000 or text MyMTPD (696873).
