THE WIZARD'S SEASON IN ONE PLAY
Luckily for the Wizards, the Redskins suck and the Caps are great. Because of those facts, the Wiz are currently getting overlooked in the D.C. sports scene. And they should be thankful.

Take Monday's loss to the Vancouver, err, Memphis Grizzlies, for example. Not only did they lose, they managed to pull it off with some embarrassment, to boot. (NBC Washington)

FEDERAL STIMULUS GOES TO TENNIS COURTS IN MONTANA
The Bozeman City Commission authorized spending $49,140 in federal stimulus money on Monday to install new tennis courts at Bogert Park.

The new courts are likely to be ready in June, Parks and Cemetery Department Superintendent Thom White said.

The commission approved a contract with Dermco-LaVine Construction in Minneapolis for the courts during a noon meeting on Monday. The company will put in rubber-tiled courts at the park, located along South Church Avenue. (Bozeman Daily Chronicle)

Metro police have arrested an 18-year-old man and charged him with pushing another youth into the side of a train.

TIDY MONKEY FLOSSES TEETH
A monkey in Japan flosses its teeth with its hair, demonstrating that humans aren't the only animals that clean their teeth and invent tools to help with the task.

The flosser, a free-ranging, middle-aged, female Japanese macaque named Chonpe, may have come up with the tool and the idea, according to a new study that will appear in the January issue of Primates. (MSNBC)
