McAuliffe Comedy Tour Shows Off “Working Hero” Side

Va. gubernatorial candidate finds parties wherever he goes

Extremely wealthy Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe is the favorite to beat his broke, emo Democratic primary challenger Brian Moran in June, but the man will never rest!

Perhaps one of the more energetic people on Earth, McAuliffe's recent campaign stops appear to be somewhat hilarious, since all he does is shout nonsensical jokes about trash and manure.

McAuliffe, who also chaired Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential run, loves to go nuts wherever he is, be it a dive bar with a vacant mechanical bull or, well, Puerto Rico.  And in this Washington Post video, "local color" reporter Dana Milbank follows McAuliffe to an energy-producing trash factory.

Terry is seen "taking notes" about how the facility works, although the notes are probably just doodles of rainbows or guns. Then he interrupts the fellow giving the presentation about 800 times to rant about how he once saved their factory from a fire.

Later, Dana Milbank will make a number of awkward puns. Ignore him. Happy Friday!
