Teen Wants French Fries Beating Case Tried in Juvenile Court

Mother allegedly refused to share fries

ELKTON, Md. -- A teen who allegedly beat his mother with a bat because she wouldn't share her fries with him wants his case heard in juvenile court, the Cecil Whig reported.

Dennis Hickman III, 16, of Port Deposit, was charged with first-degree assault and other offenses in the May 19 incident.

His public defender filed a motion for a reverse waiver to juvenile court on Aug. 13.

No date had been set for a judge to hear the request.
