Teen Sexually Assaults 10-Year-Old Girl in Prince George's County: Police

Prince George's County police warn residents after Temple Hills assault

A teenager sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl in Temple Hills, Md., Thursday, according to Prince George’s County police.

The girl was walking home from school about 4:50 p.m. when the teen grabbed her in the 3100 block of Scottish Drive and forced her to a wooded area where he allegedly assaulted her, police said.

Jonathan Lambert, 21, heard the girl’s cries for help and scared the attacker away.

"I can't stop getting her screams out of my head," he said. "I can't look at the scene. To think of the fact that a young African-American male would do this to a 10-year-old girl coming home from her education just kills me inside."

Lambert found the teen standing over the girl and chased him through the woods but couldn't catch him, News4's Shomari Stone reported.

He’s described as a black teen, age 14-16 years old, standing about 5-foot-5 or 5-foot-6 with a close haircut, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and red and white shoes.
