A teenage girl says a man with a knife threatened her Saturday evening on Florida Avenue near Gallaudet University and Union Market in northeast Washington, News4’s Mark Segraves reports.
Not far from the NoMa-Gallaudet University Metro station about 7 p.m. a man put a knife to the victim’s throat, forced her behind a building, hit her multiple times and tried to rape her, police said.
A Gallaudet representative told News4 the victim was not a student or a staff member.
