Job seekers will get a chance to learn about the over 900 jobs at the new Tanger Outlets while polishing up their resumes.
The outlet is holding a job fair workshop Friday on the sixth floor of the Laurel Regional Workforce Center at 312 Marshall Avenue in Laurel, Md.
Participants will learn how to highlight their transferable skills and create an eye-catching resume.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. until noon and 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Another workshop will be held at the same times on September 9, 10 and 11 at 1801 McCormick Drive, Suite 400, in Largo, Md.
Tanger Outlets, which is located along Oxon Hill Road, is scheduled for open in November 2013 at the National Harbor.
The 340,000-square-foot mall is expected to house an estimated 80 stores. It will also offer about 900 jobs when it opens.
A job fair for those positions will be held at the Southern Regional Technology and Recreational Complex on September 17 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on September 18 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The complex is located at 7007 Bock Road in Fort Washington, Maryland.
