Swastika, Other Vandalism at Woodbridge School, Neighborhood

Prince William County, Virginia, police are investigating after swastikas were spray-painted on a sign at a Woodbridge, Virginia, school.

Investigators said sometime between Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 21 at 6 p.m., the vandalism occurred on a sign at the Prince William Academy on Spriggs Road that faces the road.

A sign for the Early Years Academy, part of the Prince William Academy, was defaced with a swastika and other writing.

Police said there was additional vandalism in the surrounding neighborhood, including two stop signs, a fire hydrant, a mailbox, and a vehicle. Investigators said some of the vandalism was random and illegible.

A witness told police that there was a group of possible juveniles in the area at the time of the vandalism. Police are asking for more witnesses to come forward if they saw any activity in the area at that time.
