A suspicious substance sent to Fannie Mae's headquarters in northwest D.C. was deemed safe.
D.C. Fire and EMS sent a hazmat unit to a building in the 3900 block of Wisconsin Avenue NW late Friday morning after the mail room there received a letter containing an unidentifiable substance.
No injuries or illnesses were reported.
