Suspect Arrested in Northeast D.C. Double Homicide

    Authorities arrested a suspect in a D.C. double homicide in North Carolina Sunday morning.

    A 38-year-old man is wanted in the shooting deaths of a pair of siblings this summer in Northeast D.C. 

    Jamahl Jenkins, 21, and Jamie Jenkins, 28, were found unresponsive in the 5300 block of East Capitol Street NE overnight July 20. Jamie Jenkins was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead, and Jamahl Jenkins was pronounced at the scene.

    Their mother told News4 Jamie Jenkins's small tablet computer and cell phone was stolen that evening -- she had stopped by a friend's place to call her brother, and the siblings were later found dead.

    Kevin Antoine Walker, 38, was arrested at his uncle's home in Winston Salem.

    D.C. police issed a warrant for Walker Aug. 30 on first-degree murder while armed charges.
