Surveillance Video Shows McDonald's Armed Robber

Fast food restaurant employee threatened

Police in Prince George's County are offering a reward in the robbery of a fast food restaurant in Temple Hills, Md.

Surveillance video shows a man using a brick to break into the drive-through window of the McDonald's in the 3500 block of Branch Avenue Tuesday.

After removing the pane and climbing through the window, the man grabbed a metal cup holder and threatened an employee's life with it, then demanded cash.

Police said the man escaped with an undetermined amount of money.

The surveillance video and employee reveal the man is black, in his mid-20s, about 6-feet-2 with a slim build, dreadlocks and a tattoo on his arm and stomach.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 301-772-4905, referencing case number 12-150-0292.  Anonymous tips can be called in to 1-866-411-TIPS.  Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
