Supreme Court Justice Breyer Robbed

Burglar broke into his Georgetown home

For the second time this year, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is the victim of a crime.

Earlier this month someone broke into his home in Georgetown, while he was out of town.

A housekeeper told police she found a went to the home May 4 to find a glass panel to the right of the front door shattered.

The thief got away with two silver candle sticks valued at $500 and a silverware set worth $2,500.

There are no suspects, and the burglary remains under investigation.

Back in February, a man with a machete robbed Breyer and his wife inside their vacation home in the Caribbean. No one was hurt in that incident, but the man got away with $1,000 cash.
