A 77-year-old Spotsylvania, Va., man is charged with the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old female relative.
Jimmie Will Rodgers of the 10000 block of Piney Branch Road was arrested Thursday. The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office charged him with three counts of animate object sexual penetration and two counts of aggravated sexual battery.
The investigation began Thursday when a relative found “inappropriate and provocative” pictures of his daughter displayed in Rodgers bedroom and reported it to authorities.
The sheriff’s office said the offenses took place between April and August at Rodgers‘s residence.
He is being held with no bond.
