A fatal crash Tuesday afternoon caused the closure of the southbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, Park Police said.
The cause of the crash south of Route 450 in Bladensburg, Md., is under investigation, but one car flipped over and another ran off the road.
Two people were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
One southbound B-W Parkway reopened before 6:30 p.m. All lanes had reopened by 8:30 p.m.
