Silver Spring Man Found Dead in Apartment

Eric Somuah was found dead in his apartment by police on Wednesday

A man was found dead inside his Silver Spring, Md., apartment Wednesday evening, police said.

A relative of 34-year-old Eric Somuah called police when they could not get in touch with him. Somuah was found dead in his apartment on the 1100 block of East-West Highway in Silver Spring at about 4:50 p.m., authorities said.

Officials say Somuah had suffered at least one gunshot wound. An autopsy will be performed on the victim’s body in Baltimore.

The death has been ruled a homicide by police and is under investigation.
