Shots Fired in Road Rage Incident in Loudoun County

A driver fired shots into the side of another car in a road rage incident in Loudoun County Thursday.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said they are investigating an incident Thursday morning on Route 7 near City Center Boulevard.

According to police, the victim was pulling onto Route 7 westbound when a green sedan began to follow his car. The green sedan pulled up next to the victim's car on the passenger side. The driver of the green car shouted and the drivers exchanged gestures.

The victim heard loud noises and exited onto Loudoun County Parkway. He discovered multiple bullet holes on the rear passenger side of his car and contacted police.

The bullets did not penetrate the interior of the victim's car and he was not injured, police said.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black man with a round face in his late teens or early 20s, with short black hair. A black woman was also seen in the car.

The suspect's car is an older model green sedan, similar to a Honda Civic.
