D.C. Police have identified the 24-year-old man fatally shot in southeast Wednesday evening.
Timothy Delonte Dawkins was found unresponsive in the 4200 block of 4th Street SE around 7 p.m.
Neighbors told News4 they heard at least two dozen shots, and police say the victim was struck at least two times in the back.
Dawkins died at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
