Police Probe Shooting at Potomac Home

According to officials, police do not believe the incident was a random act



    A late-night shooting left a 21-year-old man wounded and shattered the calm in a normally quiet neighborhood in Potomac, Md. News4's Pat Collins has more on why police believe the shooting was no random act. (Published Monday, April 9, 2012)

    Montgomery County Police investigating a shooting outside a Potomac home believe the incident was not a random act.

    It happened late Sunday night in the 8500 block of Victory Lane, near the intersection of Bunnell Drive.

    Police say the suspect rang the doorbell, and then got into a fight with one of the people living in the house.

    The victim is currently in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
