At least one deputy discharged a firearm Friday afternoon while carrying out a court ordered eviction, according to the Prince George's County Sheriff's office.

Deputies were attempting to carry out an eviction in the 7700 block of Garrison Road in West Lanham Hills, Md., when they got into an altercation with an adult male occupant, said officials.

That occupant received a graze wound to his head and a gunshot wound to his hand and was taken to the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.  Four deputies also had minor injuries from the altercation.
