Shocking Footage of Local Pillow Fight

Local youths disrupt peace with fake fight

Did you know what your children were doing on Saturday, aside from the ones that were at the University of Maryland watching pornography? They were taking their finest goose down pillows, going to either Dupont Circle or the National Mall, and beating the piss out of each other. Or at least pretending to! It was high-end performance art, ultimately.

Saturday, April 4 marked World Pillow Fight Day, which was probably a good exercise. Everyone is very frustrated after a few bankers in New York lit the entire sum of global wealth on fire, because of mortgages. So it's better that they just hit each other with pillows instead of guns or rotten ham hocks.

A local "group" called the DC Defenestrators hosted the District's version of the event and wrote all about its plans on Facebook. Here is how it worked:

Timeline of what will happen:

2PM Agent Oscar and Agent Bryan will begin verbally arguing on the national mall.

2:01 Still disagreeing, the agents will pull out pillows to solve their differences. At this point if you see what's going on walk over to the action... verbally try to stop them briefly then take out your pillow to "break up" the action.

Fighting will go until approximately 2:20

The high-end performance art concept here is that verbal arguments cannot be solved peacefully and will always end with a bunch of ruffians in the street trying to murder each other, for 19 minutes.

This was basically the rationale for Iraq.
