Sheriff: Airport Shuttle Driver Pulls Blade on Passenger

If snow delayed or otherwise disrupted your travel plans Tuesday, consider yourself lucky your driver didn’t pull a knife on you.

An airport shuttle driver allegedly brandished a sharp blade and attempted to rob his passenger Tuesday morning, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The shuttle picked up a D.C. man before 6 a.m. The driver, 52-year-old Jesus A. Jospehson, of Hyattsville, Md., drove his passenger to the area of Sinegar Place in Sterling, Va., where he pulled the blade and demanded money, the sheriff’s office said.

The victim got out of the vehicle.

Deputies found the shuttle in the area and arrested Jospehson and charged him with robbery. More charges are possible.
