Seventh Suspect Arrested in Teen's Slaying

Police arrest a seventh suspect in the murder of a 15-year-old boy

GAITHERSBURG, Md. -- A seventh suspect has now been arrested in the murder of a teenager found stabbed to death in a Gaithersburg park in January.

Twenty-eight-year-old Joel Antonio Lovo-Reyes, of Bladensburg, Md., was picked up by police late last night. He and the other six suspects in the case are believed to be connected to the 18th Street gang.

Montgomery County Police believe the group looked for a member of rival gang MS-13 to hurt on Jan. 18. That's when they forced 15-year-old Dennys Guzman-Saenz into a car, drive him to Malcom King Park, stabbed him more than 70 times and then dumped his body near a creek, authorities said.

Guzman-Saenz was not an official member of MS-13 but did know some members, investigators said.

Police are still searching for additional suspects in this case.
