WASHINGTON -- At least eight residential buildings have been broken into in the past 10 days in the Dupont Circle area.
In each break-in, burglars are climbing fire escapes and getting inside through hatches and skylights on the roofs, police said.
The burglars are taking electronics like iPods and laptops.
Police urged residents to do whatever they can to secure all possible entrances.
