Sequester Leads to National Arboretum Entrance Fee

Taking a trip to the National Arboretum in Northeast will cost money because of sequester-related budget cuts.

Park officials decided to start charging an entrance fee. They've also decided to close the park to the public Tuesday through Thursday.

The cost-cutting measures begin the week of May 13.

There's no word on how long the cutbacks will be in effect.
