Secret Service Vehicle Stolen in Arlington

The unmarked SUV did not have any equipment that compromises the Secret Service mission

A Secret Service vehicle was stolen Monday from a service center in Arlington, Virginia, Arlington police say.

The black GMC Envoy was taken around 2:30 p.m. from the 900 block of N. Jackson Street, in between the neighborhoods of Clarendon and Virginia Square.

"The Washington Field Office is working with our partners at the Arlington Police Department to investigate the theft and locate the vehicle," a Secret Service representative told NBC4 in an email.

The SUV did not have any equipment that compromises the Secret Service mission, the agency said.
