A missing 9-year-old Springdale boy has been found in a wooded area near his home, News4 reported Wednesday.
Basith Akinola Salami was last seen getting off his school bus at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Doubletree Lane and Citrus Lane in Sprindale but never made it home.
Salami was found Wednesday morning at about 9 a.m., police said.
The boy told police that he had gotten in trouble at school and was afraid to go home.
